WORKSHOP STARTING TIME
Registration for most of our Workshops is from 9.30 a.m. with a prompt start at 9.45 a.m. However, please note the starting time shown on the individual course programme in the delegate pack for any changes. Please ensure that you arrive at the venue in plenty of time, allowing for potential problems with traffic and public transport. Latecomers are disruptive to the speaker, and the other delegates.

Regional Workshops: Zebra Training Services chooses its venues for its Regional Workshops carefully to ensure they are easily accessible and of a good quality. We always welcome feedback on the Venues we choose. ZEBRA Training Services has no liability for the standard of refreshments, equipment, or any occurrences at the training venue that it has no direct control over. In-House Workshops: The Workshop venue, equipment and catering are arranged by the Booking organisation. However, we always welcome feedback from those attending on the venue chosen as can be an important part of the training day. RECORDING & TAKING NOTES
Recording of our Conferences and Workshops is not permitted. Unless the speaker specifically states that any course literature fully explains the topic he/she is presenting, you are encouraged to take notes.
WORKSHOP NOTES PACKS Copyright: Please contact us if you wish to copy and/or distribute the notes to other people – in your organisation or elsewhere. Written permission must first be obtained from the Workshop Presenter to do so. Our Notes Packs are never available for distribution in electronic format as they are being constantly updated. QUESTIONS DURING THE WORKSHOPS
Delegates may wish to ask questions during the day. Those questions which are of interest to a majority of delegates will be answered in more detail than questions which would apply to only a few. In the event of the speaker running behind schedule, he/she may temporarily defer questions until a break.
SCHEDULED SPEAKER
If for any reason any of our scheduled speakers are unable to present the course then alternative speakers of a similar quality and expertise will be appointed, or the Workshop will be postponed to a new date / cancelled. Any fees paid will be refunded in full if any suitable revised date for the Workshop cannot be found.
ATTENDEES & CHARGES
Regional Workshops: Zebra Training Services welcomes bookings from a wide range of agencies. Unless otherwise stated on an individual Workshop Information sheet then the Workshop is not directed at any one particular sector or work group. Most of our Workshops are designed specifically for small groups to encourage participation, questions, discussion and debate on the day. Notes Packs, lunch and refreshments are provided on all our full day regional courses unless specifically stated otherwise. Local authorities and Housing Associations will be invoiced for the Booking Fee – unless the booking is from an individual or a private sector organisation then you do not need to send payment when booking. Cancellations received in writing within 10 days of the Workshop date, or non-arrival, will be charged at the full registration fee. Cancellations received in writing within 11-28 days of the Workshop will incur an administration charge of 35% of the fee above. Substitutes may attend on the day without prior notice. In-House Workshops: These are normally designed and arranged for staff just from the same local authority or housing association. If representatives from other organisations are to attend then this must be agreed in writing prior to the booking being confirmed. We charge a fixed daily fee which includes the cost of course preparation, welcome packs, comprehensive course notes, and when required all the overnight accommodation, expenses and travel for the tutor. A surcharge may apply if a Workshop is arranged where the attendees are from more from one organisation. If you book two or more consecutive days, or a series of Workshops over a few months, then discounts will be applied. You will therefore know the exact total cost from the outset, and will not get any nasty surprises for 'expenses' which can sometimes arise on invoices from other training providers!

Mobile Phones must be turned OFF throughout the training sessions.
ROOM TEMPERATURE
Please inform the speaker or the training co-ordinator if you are either too hot or too cold. We want you to be able to listen and participate at the event in comfort.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
You will be invoiced for the Booking Fee – you do not need to send payment when booking. ZEBRA Training Services has Public Liability insurance cover, but accepts no liability whatsoever for any accident at an event, or by the actions of presenters, unless it is directly attributable to negligence on the part of ZEBRA Training Services. Speakers and presenters are not always direct employees of ZEBRA Training Services and are therefore instructed to arrange their own Public Liability Insurance for their involvement and participation in Conferences and Workshops, as this is not covered by the insurance policies of ZEBRA Training Services and any contract for this liability is therefore directly between the delegate and the presenter. Delegates are responsible at all times for taking care of their own property and ZEBRA Training Services accepts no responsibility for any losses arising. Course content is based on the understanding of the speaker of the subject matter at the time the event is held. ZEBRA Training Services accepts no liability whatsoever for any errors, misjudgements or losses arising from the use of the information supplied. Should a Workshop need to be cancelled, postponed or curtailed at late notice due to reasons beyond our control (e.g. Tutor illness, vehicle breakdown, adverse weather or other emergency) then ZEBRA Training Services cannot be held liable for any losses incurred and will endeavour to re-arrange the Workshop at a future date.
COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
In the unlikely event that you have any complaints regarding the organisation or delivery of any of our courses then these must be made by providing full details in writing within ten days of the course being presented. These should be addressed for the attention of the Director, ZEBRA Training Services, P.O. Box 268, Wigan, WN5 8FQ and clearly marked ‘confidential’. We take all complaints very seriously and will take appropriate action where necessary, but we cannot accept any claims received later than ten days from the date of the course having been presented.
GDPR
We are keen to ensure that the data we hold is safe and only used for the purposes intended. The only personal data we hold for individuals are their email address and Workshop attendance records. The information is used only for the purpose of marketing of our own Welfare Benefits Training services. ("Legitimate Interests"). Any such record will always be immediately deleted on a request from that individual.
PRIVACY NOTICE: Your privacy is important to us. We will not pass on your details to third party companies without your express permission. Unsubscribe from our own marketing database by sending an email to us with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line, or use the link provided on all our email marketing circulars.
